Meet the Owner
Dr. Susan P. Williams,
MBA, RRT, LNHA, CGCM
Susan Williams’ journey in healthcare began early, helping her mother at a local nursing home. In 1993, she enrolled in a Medical Assistant program and discovered her passion while managing a gynecologist’s office in Brighton, MA. Inspired by the changing healthcare landscape and her father’s lung cancer diagnosis in 2002, she pursued a degree in Respiratory Therapy. Over the next decade, she built extensive experience in a Long-Term Acute Facility, holding multiple leadership roles, and in 2008, she earned a Master’s Degree in Management with a concentration in Healthcare Administration.
Her career took a significant leap at Kindred Healthcare, where she served as a respiratory therapist and was selected for the competitive Nursing Home Administrator Program. After completing a 13-month Administrator in Training internship, she became the administrator of a 122-bed Skilled Nursing Home. In her first year, the facility earned its first “Deficiency Free” status in five years, marking a milestone in her commitment to excellence in patient care and healthcare leadership.
Miciyiaah Renrick
Vice President of Operations
Miciyiaah Renrick brings over a decade of expertise in healthcare operations, combining strong leadership skills with a deep commitment to quality patient care. With experience spanning home healthcare, long-term care, and assisted living settings, she excels in streamlining operations, managing medical records, coordinating supplies, and leading high-performing teams.
As Vice President of Operations at Back to Home Healthcare Services, Miciyiaah oversees daily agency functions, including caregiver hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and compliance management. Her career includes completing an intensive Administrator in Training program and serving as an interim administrator, as well as directing medical records and supply coordination for large facilities. Holding multiple advanced degrees in healthcare and business management, Miciyiaah blends strategic oversight with hands-on operational expertise, ensuring that the agency runs efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Following this success, Susan was recruited by a small nursing home company to implement and launch their first pulmonary program, overseeing eight skilled nursing facilities. In 2017, she took on the challenge of turning around a struggling facility, followed by a tenure as the Administrator of a 178-bed skilled facility, where she led the team to finish the fiscal year $1.3 million ahead of budget.
Susan’s unwavering passion for healthcare has now led her to open her own homecare agency. Her strong belief in her faith, leadership qualities, and proven track record have made her a successful leader. She sits on two organizational boards, actively participates in community work, and has been nominated for the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts’ “Home Care Agency of the Year.” Additionally, her agency has been recognized as the “Rising Client of the Year.”
Susan collaborates with several small business cohorts and holds a WEBENC certification. She now also serves as a coach, helping new home care agency owners achieve their own success.
